Anyone who owns or is buying a home and needs to answer a specific numeric question. You don’t need a background in chemistry to use the pool calculators, or a finance degree to use the mortgage tools. The calculators handle the math; the explanations tell you what the numbers mean and what to do with them.

Formula accuracy

Every formula is sourced from an authoritative reference — industry standards bodies, government agencies, and peer-reviewed guidelines. We cite the source on every calculator page so you can verify the math yourself. When a formula has known edge cases or limitations, we document them explicitly rather than hiding them in fine print.
